Staff share ideas about reaching goals

These past few months, I have had the privilege to visit all our locations throughout Washington state to hear directly from staff about how we can put the 2016-21 Strategic Plan into action.

As you can see on our “Learn” page, our 2016-21 Strategic Plan sets the direction of Children’s Home Society of Washington during the coming years. Our plan is to create an integrated hub model in each community that focuses on providing comprehensive services to children from birth to age 12. The hub model provides a streamlined and cohesive support system for children and families to access various services that meet all their needs.

To make the strategic plan a reality, we need the commitment of all of YOU - staff, Board of Trustees, volunteers, supporters and partners. I’m thrilled to say that our staff provided terrific ideas during my visits that will help Children’s Home Society of Washington move toward the goals outlined in the strategic plan.

As you can see from the photographs, my time with my Children's Home Society of Washington colleagues was fabulous. I experienced warm hospitality wherever I travelled. I appreciate the great ideas that emerged and time taken to discuss with me our individual and collective roles in helping Children’s Home Society of Washington realize its mission. What a trip!  And what an amazingly exciting time for Children's Home Society of Washington and the children and families we serve.

I look forward to continuing to share our progress and how you can join with us to fulfill the promise and hope of every child
