CHSW closed its Records & Reunion (formerly Search & Reunion) program on June 30, 2020.
CHSW will be able to respond to court order requests from outside Confidential Intermediaries for records honoring our commitment to CHSW adoptees, birth and adoptive families which began at our organization’s founding in 1896.
If you would like to access search and reunion services you can using an Independent Confidential Intermediary (CI). A list of these intermediaries can be found by doing a Google search for “Washington State Confidential Intermediary.” To learn more about the role and services of an Independent CI please read RCW 26.33.343
