New grant to provide therapeutic art materials, training

Children’s Home Society of Washington has received a $7,500 grant from the Anthem Foundation to provide therapeutic art materials and training support for Child & Family Counseling in Chelan and Douglas counties.

An enormous thank you to the Anthem Foundation for their kindness and generosity to our local children and families. This grant will allow our counselors to provide therapeutic art support, which will enrich our counseling offerings to children and families across our service area.

Children’s Home Society of Washington in Chelan and Douglas counties serves children and youth 0-21 in the Child & Family Counseling program. All of the children and youth in this program have a diagnosed mental health disorder.
