Foster Care Services

Children and adolescents are placed in our foster homes through referrals through the Washington Department of Children & Family Services. The goal is for these youth to eventually return to their birth families or to transition to a permanent, loving family through the Foster-to-Adopt program if return to home is not possible.

In this program, foster families commit to providing a stable home for a child until the child’s permanent plan is legally resolved. We recruit foster parents, help them through the licensing process, and provide support to make a foster home placement a positive experience. If the foster family is unable to adopt the child, they have the reward of knowing they provided a loving home for a child while the legal situation was being sorted out.
