Today many grandparents, aunts, and uncles find themselves unexpectedly raising grandchildren or other young relatives. This program provides education, support and information for these families, whose children have often experienced significant losses associated with their parents' inability to care for them. The children often bring challenging behavior into a family that may face limited resources and isolation. Support groups and a monthly newsletter help relatives address the special circumstances they face.
