Adoption

Our adoption experts have been providing homes for Washington's children since 1896. Adoption is a second chance for a safe, nurturing, and permanent home for children who cannot remain with their birth parents. We offer a wide range of services including home studies, post-adoption support, referrals, support groups, classes and information for families exploring domestic, second parent, step parent, or international adoption. We also partner with local and national organizations in our mission to find a stable, loving home for every child in Washington.

While finding a permanent home for a child often means adoption, it can also include legal guardianship, living with relatives, or reunification with a biological family.

If you have questions about adoption, please contact your local Adoption Resource Center or e-mail the adoption team to make an appointment with an Adoption Counselor today!
